SHRI NIDHIVAN TEMPLE

Nidhivan is one of the most sacred and mysterious places in Vrindavan, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. It is believed to be the very spot where Shri Bankey Bihari Ji manifested through the divine music and devotion of Swami Shri Haridas Ji. Surrounded by dense clusters of green trees, Nidhivan is considered the eternal playground of Shri Radha and Krishna. These trees are revered as the Sakhis (friends) of Shri Radha Rani, and many devotees believe they transform into Gopis every night to participate in the divine Raas Leela.

Spiritual Significance

Nidhivan is known as Raas Sthali, the sacred place where the divine couple Radha and Krishna perform Raas Leela every night. Devotees firmly believe that after dusk, no one is allowed to stay inside the premises, as Radha and Krishna continue their eternal pastimes here. The grove is also remembered as the Sadhna Sthali of Braj Rasik Saint Swami Shri Haridas Ji, who was blessed with the vision of Shri Bankey Bihari Ji at this holy site.
