SHRI JATIPURA MUKHARVIND DARSHAN

Shreeji resides eternally in Vraj at Mathura on Giriraj Govardhan, and His divine presence is manifest at the Mukharvind Mandir, situated at the base of Govardhan Hill—the sacred place of His Pragatya (appearance). This Govardhan Shila, revered as the Shringar Sthali or the Mukharvind (Face) of Giriraj Govardhan, holds immense spiritual importance, especially within the Vallabh Sampraday.

Every year, the grand Annakut Mahotsav is celebrated here with deep devotion, echoing the original pastime of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhan Hill and initiating the Annakut Seva. Daily, hundreds of devotees visit this holy site, offering milk, flowers, and prayers, while many begin their sacred parikrama of Giriraj Govardhan from this very point. The atmosphere here is profoundly charged with divine energy and living spiritual vibrations, making it one of the most cherished spots of devotion in Govardhan.
