SHRI SEVA KUNJ TEMPLE

Seva Kunj Mandir is one of the most sacred and enchanting places in Vrindavan, located near Nidhivan. Both temples resemble each other in their spiritual aura and significance, as both are associated with the divine Raas Leela of Shri Radha and Krishna. According to tradition, during the divine Raas Leela, Shri Radha Rani once became tired and rested at Seva Kunj. At that very moment, Lord Krishna performed Charan Seva (foot massage) for her, displaying the highest form of love and humility. From that incident, the place came to be known as Seva Kunj, symbolizing the Lord’s selfless service to his beloved Radha. Even today, devotees believe that Radha and Krishna visit this grove every night and continue their eternal leelas, which is why the temple premises are closed after dusk.
